Professor Kevin of the Fishers Library League is hosting some Pokemon events here at the store in the coming weeks/months!  Here’s a rundown:

Xerneas League Challenge
Date Saturday: March 29, 2014
Registration: 10:15AM to 10:45AM

The Fishers PokeLeague is proud to host its Xerneas season 2014 League Challenge. Prizes will be determined by attendance. The expected prizes at a minimum will be: Top 4 finishers in each age division will receive Pokemon TCG card packs in addition to the League Challenge Winner’s Promo. 4 packs for 1st place, 2 packs for 2nd place. 1 pack for 3rd and 4th place. We will also have a couple of door prizes to give away.

Yveltal League Challenge
Date Saturday: April 19, 2014
Registration: 10:15AM to 10:45AM

Admission: $30

The heat is on! Charizard EX and a bunch of his Fire Pokemon friends are turning up the temperature to stop Team Plasma and Team Flare. Can you Catch Em All? Pokemon TCG Flashfire Prerelease is your first chance to capture some of these amazing Pokemon! All participants receive 8 packs of the new Flashfire Set (6 to build your deck, then 2 more at end of event). Trainers will build a deck of 40 cards and play 3 rounds of play against other trainers. Promo Items will be available while supplies last! We’ll also have a good number of door prizes given away before each round. Hope you can join us for all the fun as we get our sneak peek at the latest cards in the Pokemon TCG Game! Registration ends promptly at 2:00pm and deck building and game rounds will last until around 5 pm. We’ll run a booster draft afterward: interest/product permitting.

Team Plasma is “blasting off again”! Come see all the newest Pokemon! Will you have the skills to catch and master the all new Virizion EX and Genesect EX cards?!?!? Prereleases are a constructed Pokemon event. For your entry fee, you will receive 6 packs to build your 40 card deck. (Basic energies will be provided). We will play 3 twenty minute rounds, and at the end of the event each player will receive 2 extra bonus packs for attending. We’ll have lots of giveaways including a Japanese Team Plasma Genesect Deck Box! We’ll also do a 5 pack, $20 after-draft for those wanting to play again. (dependent on product availability and interest).
